Our Process

How We Review

Every published page starts with a specific reader question. We compare the features that affect that decision, check current pricing and privacy documentation, and distinguish documented facts from our editorial judgment. Pages that have not passed this review remain unpublished.

Scores use five weighted dimensions: features (30%), usability (25%), value (20%), privacy and security (15%), and reliability (10%). A score is a decision aid, not an app-store rating. We show important limitations and who should skip a product, not only who should use it.

RateTopic covers AI tools, productivity apps, security and privacy tools, Android utilities, and mobile games. Our comparison guides use the same criteria for every product in the matchup.

RateTopic is operated by MobileUps. When we cover a MobileUps product, the relationship is disclosed prominently on the article. Vendors do not approve our conclusions. Read the full methodology, evidence, corrections, and disclosure policy.
